New Topia
I’m going to make this short as possible. I give you credit if you can bear with me for a page.
First, take a deep breath. Second, take another breath and close your eyes. And here we go…
The entire universe is energy, also known as The Beloved, Love, The Tao, God-, Allah whatever blows your hair back. Each person is part and whole of God simultaneously, like a hologram. You are God. I Am God- just like Wyatt Sexton- Florida State’s quarterback. God is your mirror in which you contemplate yourself and you are His mirror in which He contemplates his divine attributes. Abundance is real.
I believe the universe/reality we inhabit is super-intelligent and self-organizing, like the human body on an infinite scale. Don’t think so? Then play with your dog, a dolphin school, climb a mountain, attend a laser show concert, and report back. Can you still deny the magical reality of the ultimate muse- God, the infinite ubiquitous universe? Each moment of reality creates itself anew, experiencing participatory pleasure in the grand euphonious rhythmic pulsing wave of light nectar-filled existence.
Okay, so God is made of love, forming mass, energy, and the nectar filled void of space. What is energy anyway? It is the capacity for change over time. The only universal constant = energetic change; thus time- the ultimate scapegoat- is responsible for everything. Blame your bad news on time. Fortunately our reality enfolds anew each second without hesitating. The universe is 14,000,000,000 years old.
Earth organisms like us humans are 3,500,000,000 years old. Each organism is a toddler compared
to the teenaged universe. We are the universe trying to understand its own mysterious secrets.
Life is a holographic dream memory, experienced forwards and understood backwards. The past is done, and we create our future just by living. Only the eternal present exists. Somehow our heart pumps without effort, through the magic of your body. Your DNA organizes the structured information patterns controlling your existence. Somehow, from the most complex meat- machine in the universe, emerges a modern human- lover, devourer, journeymen, cultured, fighter, full of spirit and action. Marvelous!
We are beautiful beings surviving in amazing infinity. Put simply, the purpose of life is to spread love or beauty. If you are sleeping, AWAKE and fulfill your future! Find your soulmate(s). Satisfy the hunger of others and you shall no longer want. Peer through maya- reality’s shallow covering, and realize all six billion humans on this planet were born naked. Before babies are restrained millions of times by authority, they manifest the magical, mischievous play so universally characteristic of nature- the fetching dog; the squawking birds flying through the chaotic air pool; humans blasting comets with spaceships.
Genetics shows us humans share blood with the trees, bacteria, and chimpanzees. Our powerful technological culture proclaimed lordship of the planet. Our society claims ownership of nature’s handiwork, but we are inextricably as old as natural life, just like the chickens slaughtered for KFC (You gotta eat!) Our violent existence ensures we kill for food- plants or animals. Nature is violent, just ask the Big Bang- I wasn’t there, but I heard some scientists were. It’s all right to eat animals, and we already grow synthetic meat in the lab. That’s almost as cool as our synthetic diamonds and our self-replicating house-building robots. What if engineering conquers hunger, suffering, war, disease…even aging?
Here are my proposals: Ensure basic needs for all humans. Respect yourself, human life, and the planet. Utilize renewable (wind/water/solar/geothermal/biomass) energy. Switch from a combustive hydrocarbon (fossil fuel) infrastructure to an electric carbohydrate (hydrogen, water, corn, soybean, and hemp) economy. Use quality of life to measure economic progress. Protect natural capital (wildlife, water reservoirs, ecosystems)- our society’s lifeblood (who wants to eat synthetic meat?) Plant park gardens and trees open 24 hours a day. Recognize hemp as a world-saving industrial fiber efficient for powerful organic rope, fuel, paint, paper, and building materials. Stop abortions through birth control or state adoption. Use a public health model for drug regulation. Support cognitive liberty- freedom of thought and speech. Reverse rampant militarism and wasteful consumerism. Merge public and private institutions. Support the free culture movement. Allow Congress to issue Constitutional tender, instead of the Federal Reserve’s Monopoly Money. Restore money’s essential role as an instrument of freedom in our Kapitalist Utopia. Network electric transportation. Replace laws with ethics. Fight War with Peace. Fight Anger with Humor. Fight Fear with Hope. Fight doubt with action. Fight Hate with Love. Burn down false ideas and create Truth.
Oceans comprise 2/3 of the Earth- Let’s use them for water, energy, and food! Don’t fear the beach!
I know it’s a lot to take it at once, but this is just the beginning. Most of it is common sense, really! We are all in this together. With six billion human beings and the coming social/technological revolution, we will work some magic of our own. The power of belief is intensely real- have faith in yourself and lose all doubt.
